Real-Time analysis of Trump Tweets by bedatify!

This is a real-time (ongoing) dashboard to analyze the Tweets about Trump published on Twitter. The data is acquired from the Twitter Streaming API and analyzed with Spark on Python!
Only English Tweets with keyword Trump are analyzed.

This project hast been implemented on Spark platform. Spark receives the stream of Tweets from Twitter. The tweets are queued for 20 seconds. Each 20 seconds, the batch of collected Tweets are submitted to the server for analysis.

This live visualization shows the number of Tweets that have been analyzed in the last 150 batches.

The activity of the users is measured by how many Tweets or Retweets they have had within the last hour. The activity of users is important since users that have many posts within a short time window might be automated accounts or bots.

Each Tweet is posted using one of the main Twitter sources available on the web browsers, cell phones, or other interfaces. This information is important since the automated accounts and bots have non-usual sources.
